Genre Menu Blackbird automatically organizes your music by genre.  With the Genre menu you can play all of your songs in that genre.   Feel like groovin' to the Blues, select "Blues" and Blackbird will do the rest.   When you click on the play arrow next to the genre, Blackbird begins playing all of the music within that genre in a random order.  In addition, Blackbird creates and saves a playlist of these songs.  You can then edit the order of songs, delete songs and save the playlist for future enjoyment.  Blackbird lets you create your ideal genre playlist.    Click on the genre name to view and play all of the songs within that genre listed alphabetically. The numbers in parentheses show how many songs you have in the specific category.  For example, in this window, there are 22 genre categories and 293 songs in the "Jazz" category. The top status bar shows what song and artist is currently playing.  The red arrow shows what genre is currently selected.
